The Web of Life: Producer to Predator science DVD

Looks at the processes and relationships that occur in all ecosystems; the flow of energy, the cycling of water and nutrients, food chains, and the producer-consumer-decomposer cycle. Students will become familiar with terms such as community, population, homeostasis, biome, habitat, niche, succession, predator, prey, mimicry, mutualism, symbiosis, and limiting factors. The program concludes by looking at examples of how modern society has effected the balance of life in different ecosystems.
